Grant Burge's flagship wine, Shadrach, is made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from Barossa vineyards that provide ideal growing conditions for producing super-premium Cabernet Sauvignon with great finesse, intensity, and structure. The fruit used for this wine is sourced from two locations, the Corryton Park vineyard in the cool-climate Eden Valley, located high in the Barossa Ranges, and the Barossa Valley floor, which has concentrated rich fruit flavors.
Shadrach is a full-bodied wine with notes of blackcurrant, blackberries, mint, vanilla, and dried autumn leaf characters. The wine's rich mid-palate is followed by fine tannins and exceptional length, making it a wine with cellaring potential of up to 15 years.
This bottle of Shadrach has a size of 750mL and contains 8.3 standard drinks, with an alcohol volume of 14%. It is a product of Australia and comes from the Grant Burge brand. This particular vintage is from the year 2012.
